01 · PREDICT

ForestSat Wildfire Insight™

Satellite Data + AI Wildfire Risk Prediction for Preventive Action

ForestSat Wildfire Insight™ is the predictive wildfire intelligence engine of the ForestSat platform, built to map areas at risk of wildfire — often years before ignition. It analyzes more than a decade of satellite and environmental data to map forest health, fuel accumulation, and risk trajectory.

Forest professionals and scientists know that the conditions making wildlands prone to massive wildfires develop quietly over long periods. That is why ForestSat goes back nearly a decade, downloading and analyzing images from more than six satellites, week after week, to develop a clear and reliable risk map. It then becomes evident where — especially under extreme weather — conditions can inevitably lead toward catastrophic wildfire if left unmanaged.

"ForestSat Wildfire Insight™ takes the guesswork out of the equation, equipping stakeholders to take protective and preventive action ahead of fire season, thereby preventing catastrophic megafires."
ForestSat Platform Documentation

📥 Input

10+ years of Earth Observation satellite data: fuel buildup, vegetation stress, canopy-density change, moisture decline, terrain, wind exposure and historic burn signatures. Data from NASA, ESA, JAXA, ISRO, Sentinel, Landsat, SAR and commercial constellations.

⚙️ Model

AI and machine-learning risk models trained on 50+ environmental variables. Detects patterns of risk accumulation and how ignition could escalate under extreme weather. Scenario simulation for what-if fire weather conditions.

📤 Output

Dynamic area-at-risk maps showing exposed communities, property, infrastructure, agriculture and ecological zones. Risk classification: Low → Moderate → High → Extreme. Fuel overload identification. Not just where fire starts — what will burn.

💰 Commercial Value

Early, targeted intervention before fire season — reducing dependence on expensive suppression and enabling budget prioritization. The Dixie Fire cost $637M to suppress. Satellite monitoring + prescribed burn treatment for the same landscape: tens of thousands of dollars.

🗺️ Prevention Planning

Translates risk intelligence into year-round action plans: fuel reduction, vegetation management, firebreak preparation, brush clearance and protection of exposed zones. Dynamic — not static plans.

🎯 Resource Prioritization

Identifies where intervention is required, what type of action will be most effective, and which areas should receive priority before summer fire season. Optimizes limited prevention budgets for maximum risk reduction.

⚡ Operational Discipline

Instead of static plans or late-stage response, agencies get dynamic guidance based on changing forest conditions, fuel load and evolving weather exposure. Converts insight into budgets, tasks, contractor work orders and measurable outcomes.

📋 Scenario Simulation

"If ignition occurs at this point, what happens in the next 6, 12, 24 hours?" Pre-emptive containment planning based on modeled fire behavior under forecast weather — enables proactive resource deployment before fire starts.

02 · PREVENT

ForestSat Wildfire Guardian™

Satellite + AI Wildfire Prevention & Risk-Mitigation Decision Support System

ForestSat Wildfire Guardian™ is the prevention and risk-mitigation Decision Support System (DSS) of the ForestSat platform. It is designed to translate wildfire risk intelligence into continuous, on-the-ground, proactive preventive action throughout the year — especially in the lead-up to the summer fire season.

Built on the predictive outputs of ForestSat Wildfire Insight™, Guardian integrates real-time satellite data with evolving forest conditions to guide authorities in managing fuel loads, vegetation, and preparing high-risk zones. It enables decision-makers to prioritize resources, act early when intervention is still practical, and systematically reduce wildfire risk across large territories.

03 · VERIFY

ForestSat MVR™

Monitor · Verify · Report — Wildfire Risk Mitigation & Preventive Action

The system of record for prevention budgets. Satellite proof of what was done, what it cost, and whether wildfire risk was actually reduced — for policymakers, auditors, insurers, and all stakeholders.

📡

Monitor

Uses satellite, aerial and field inputs to observe whether mitigation measures were carried out in the identified areas at risk. Asynchronous high-resolution satellite verification.

Verify

Confirms what was done, where, when, by whom — and whether it aligns with the prevention plan. Independent contractor accountability. Before vs. after risk scenario visualization.

📋

Report

Direct link between action, cost and outcome. Policy reports, ESG and climate disclosures, investor-grade performance documentation, insurance verification evidence.

Why MVR™ Is the Commercial Wedge

Governments spend $6.55B/year (US alone) on wildfire — but cannot demonstrate what was done or whether risk was reduced. Utilities spend billions on mitigation (SCE: $6.2B plan) but face litigation because outcomes are unverified. Insurers need risk reduction evidence for underwriting.

MVR makes ForestSat the system of record — not just an analytics tool. It answers the questions that matter: What was done? What did it cost? Did it reduce wildfire risk?

04 · RESPOND

ForestSat Wildfire Response™

AI-Powered Fire Spread Prediction for Firefighting & Emergency Response

Activated from the moment wildfire ignition is detected, ForestSat Wildfire Response™ uses AI-driven modeling combined with live satellite data, weather inputs and field intelligence to predict how a fire will behave — its direction, speed of spread, intensity and likely impact on surrounding areas.

Instead of reacting to the current fire line alone, authorities can act based on where the fire is going next — reducing response time, improving coordination, and increasing the effectiveness of suppression. The platform integrates wind speed and direction, temperature, terrain, fuel conditions and live satellite observations continuously.

"ForestSat Wildfire Response™ transforms wildfire suppression from reactive firefighting into predictive, intelligence-led response."
